Denied

Thank you for applying at Re/Alignment. Unfortunately, the appstaff have decided to decline your application based on the following;

--Inadequate display of knowledge about the canon; we’re not overly sure where you’re getting the personality from, but it’s inconsistent with what has been shown in IDW. There, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe are shown to have a relationship without much implied ‘brotherhood’ as opposed to other canons, with little to no evidence that their company is any better than any others’. The other comments are written without context, and do not give us a proper ‘feel’ for the character.
In addition, the wiki link provided for his history takes us to a generic Wiki page, with multiple versions of Sunstreaker; if you mean to link to a specific section on the page, please be sure you link directly to that section! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunstreaker#IDW_Publishing as opposed to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunstreaker )
--First person sample; this isn’t in the proper format we’re asking for, which is a first-person post by the character - yours is in third-person.
--Low writing quality; overall, this application suggests you may not be quite familiar with an application and journal-based roleplay. This is fine - everybody gets a start somewhere - but we suggest you take a look at some of the applications that have been approved, to get a better idea of what we’re asking for in each section, and so that you feel more comfortable writing for this style of roleplay. (If you’d like an example - http://sword-redemption.dreamwidth.org/478.html is the application for Drift, who is also from IDW.)

If you’re able to correct these problems, feel free to apply again next cycle!
