1- The player has been contacted and asked to put up an HMD for the character.

In fact, while we request an HMD when apps are approved, we do not specifically require one according to the Rules page. This is an oversight on our part and will be corrected shortly.

2- Your concerns regarding characterization are best brought to the player directly, since they are the one in a position to make adjustments if they feel the criticism is valid. We ask you to please contact them via their HMD. If an HMD is not anon-enabled and you don't feel comfortable approaching the player, we are willing to pass along any constructive criticism you have for them.

3- It would not be fair of us to prevent certain players from posting about in-game events relevant to their character(s) simply because they tend to receive more comments. If you feel another player has been discourteous or has “taken over” your plot, again, we encourage you to speak with them. There is little hope an issue can be resolved if they are not aware of it, after all!

If you are unable to reach an agreement with them, contact us again and one of the mods will gladly act as a mediator.

The plot you referenced is ongoing, but backdated. Please see point 5 for further clarification.

4- Regarding identifying the Glyphless: Glyphs are generally easy to spot, being located on a character's upper arm. It could reasonably be assumed that a character would notice whether or not another character had one.

Regarding the Glyphless not being permitted into the temples: this was intended to be common knowledge at least OOCly, and ICly once any of the Glyphless characters attempted to enter the temples. (Any Acolyte or Firstforged would also have said why.) It was mentioned both in the OOC community post about the Glyphless event as well as in the mod plurk advertising the beginning of the event. Please make sure to read through event posts in full! In future, we'll see what we can do to make plot-relevant points like this more obvious.

5- The character you mention was not the only one involved in the fight. At least two other characters were also present, although thus far this has only has only been discussed OOCly. Neither was the plot dropped: the player has been busy IRL and has not had the time to log the event yet. It will be backdated. If you're curious about the status of the plot or still wish your character to have been involved, please get in touch with them.

We hold no bias towards or against any particular player or group. As per our app FAQ, players may earn additional character slots beyond the four initially allowed. As specified in the OOC comm's mod updates: “Terms to earn a 5th character slot agreed to be 4 characters in play for at least a month, & at least one passed AC with them all. Slot may be requested during said AC, or privately/directly to the mods.” The player requested an additional character slot. Because they had met the stated requirements, it was granted. We'll do what we can to clarify this on the App FAQ itself, but as always – if you are ever confused or have any questions about Re-Alignment's rules, we are happy to answer them!

If there are any additional measures you feel could be taken to improve the game's atmosphere for all involved, please feel free to make suggestions. If your friends have concerns of their own, we encourage them to speak with us as well. We strive to treat all players with equal respect, and will do our best to ensure the game remains a fun, welcoming environment for everyone.

Yes, the points outlined on the FAQ page are the major guidelines to follow. It would be difficult to give you more specific advice without knowing the details of the OAU you'd like to app; we invite you to discuss it with us before writing the app, if you'd like.

Note as well that you cannot app an OAU character if you do not currently have a character that has been in Re/Alignment for at least one month.

There's presently no rule concerning post deletion. We're discussing the issue and will notify the OOC community if we make any changes to the rules.
