I'm pulling Percy in sans rifle, since it's a little large to be carried around with him everywhere and he's been working in a more scientific corner of things at his current pull-point. He'll probably either locate or construct a replacement later, but right now he's without it.

First off, our apologies for the late response! All of us have been going back and forth with conventions, and it will not happen again.

Second, the modstaff would like to make sure that all of us are on the same page on this point. We understand that grammar can be a struggle - however, in a text-based roleplaying game, being clear is essential and all the more important. And with a character that holds such a high intelligence, errors seems all the more jarring and disconcerting. We'd like to emphasize that you take the time to proofread your writing if you intend to play such a character.

We did understand that the sample takes place in the SG setting rather than the R/A, and stand by our request - as well as thank you for writing a new sample.

This is not a deny/revise/accept, but it is a comment that was raised during the mod discussion of your application. The profanity in your username was noted as something unavoidable, and while R/A is rated 'R', it was felt that it's toeing a line. Most content in R/A can be hidden behind a cut, while your prospective username (or at least the one you've applied with) is unavoidable whether or not the player is comfortable with said profanity.

By all means, we're betting on our pride!

It's quite alright, mods have a life as well.

I do understand where you are coming from in terms of the grammar, I suppose I worded myself badly to express my real concern. That concern is if my grammar is only barely passing at this time, when I can barely see anything to fix in it, I feel worried that I could get called out on something that I am already trying to work on despite it being one of my struggles, as well as being something that I may not be aware that I am doing that badly with because lack the ability to see where I am making the mistakes. I of course will stick to doing my best to type with the best amount of literacy that I can, but I don't want to discount the idea that I am afraid if this is going to be something this strict (in my personal opinion) that I could be forced to drop the character simply because I have certain struggles with typing. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from with this, and I don't want to simply work hard on the app and do the revisions to get into game and suddenly be called out because I used an extra comma or conjunction in ways that, in written form may be wrong, but since my character is speaking actually sounds accurate.
